Description: Type 4 JDBC driver that provides database connectivity for SQL Server 2005.
This driver is JDBC 3.0 compliant and runs on the Java Development Kit (JDK) version 1.4 and higher. It has been tested against all major application servers including BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, JBoss, and Sun.
Works with SQL Server 2000 as well.

- support for integrated authentication
- database mirroring
- adaptive buffering to retrieve any kind of large-value data without the overhead of server cursors
- support for SSL
- tightly coupled distributed transactions

Description: Visual J# is a tool that Java-language programmers can use to build applications and services to run on the .NET Framework.

Visual J# targets the .NET Common Language Runtime and can be used to develop .NET applications, including XML Web services and Web applications, making full use of the .NET Framework. Visual J# is not used for developing applications intended to run on a Java Virtual Machine. Applications and services built with Visual J# will run only on the .NET Framework.
