Java-based virtual file system that enables client applications to access ZIP, TAR and derivative archive types transparently as if they were just directories in a file's path name.

Features include:
- drop-in replacements for the java.io.File/FileInputStream/FileOutputStream classes.
- Thread-safe: multiple threads can access the same archive file at the same time.
